Times of Praying Together
Wednesdays at 7:00 PM is the main time of the church praying together. We spend some time lifting up praises to God for what we see Him doing among us and we go over a prayer guide of requests made by members and friends.
Deacon's Prayer takes place on Sunday mornings at 9:30. The leaders pray for the church in worship that day. It is their desire to see God work in a mighty way that day. Along with the pastor, they pray for Sunday School teacher, music leaders, and the preacher asking for God's blessings on each person in church.
Staff Prayer takes place on Monday and Wednesday morning. Specific needs of the church family are shared and prayed for.
Prayer ministry takes place each week in the form of Prayer Care and GROW. In the summer months a group of people systematically go through our neighborhood knocking on doors asking for any prayer needs. We pray with many at the door but also come back to the church and spend time in praise and ask God again to help those in need. Throughout the year we have a different group that meets each Tuesday night to contact and pray for those we have been led to in the last several weeks.
The prayer line is available 24/7 at (252) 937- PRAY (7729). In calling the church you will be guided through a menu to select the prayer line. Listen to praises, needs, event updates and even leave a prayer request.
