Rev. Tim R. Lowry

 Senior Pastor

Tim is a native of Pageland, SC.  He was called to preach at age 17 in his home church of Providence in Pageland.  He came to North Carolina gaining two valuable things…an education and a spouse.  Tim and Kim were married at Kim’s home church, Mineral Springs, in Stanley County on August 15, 1982.  The couple finished their bachelor’s degree work in 1984 and soon moved to the Raleigh area for Tim to attend Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Since completing his Masters of Divinity, Rev.  Lowry has been pastor of churches in South and North Carolina.  Most recently, he finished his work at Balfour Baptist in Asheboro, NC.  Tim and Kim have one son, Ethan, age 17 of whom they are very proud.  The family enjoys camping in their RV and board games.  Tim and Ethan also like to play paintball and pier fish.   Pastor Lowry has a strong heart for missions and has made trips in the last three years to Gulf Port, New York City, and Nigeria, Africa.  Tim Lowry became our Senior Pastor on July 29, 2009.

Rev. Richard Price

Associate Pastor of Youth and Young Adults

Rev. Richard Price is a native of Beaufort, NC. He grew up in the Carteret County area and in the local church. He has been in the Full-Time Ministry since 1996. He was licensed in 1994. He was Ordained in 2002.  His passion is to see people recognize the calling of God in their lives to be his hands and his voice in the world that we live in today. Richard comes to us with his wife Jacquelyn, whom he met at Lifeway Christian Bookstore when he was serving as a Youth and Children's Pastor in Rocky Mount, NC, and their son Ethan.  Richard joined the staff on March 1, 2009.

 Rev. Thane Kendall

Director of Church Music

Rev. Thane Kendall came to Arlington in the early Spring of 2010.  He makes his home in Wake Forest, NC where he is a student in Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He is married to Ava Kendall and they have two adult sons.  Thane enjoys aviation, travel, golf, fishing hiking and auto repair.  He was ordained by Tri-County Baptist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Rev. Kendall has experience as a worship pastor for churches in Gastonia, Durham, and Raleigh. 

Mrs. Pam Votipka

Director of Children's Ministries

Miz Pam is not only a native of Rocky Mount, but she grew up at Arlington Baptist Church. She lived away from Rocky Mount for 18 years with her husband, who retired from a career in the Air Force.  As a result, she has had the opportunity to serve as a lay person in several churches in many locations throughout the United States and England.  She believes that God prepared her in that time for her calling to Arlington.  She brings a wealth of experience  Pam joined the staff in July 2002.

Pam is married to Ben.  They have three children:  Daniel, Andrew, and Turner.

Mrs. Angie Barnes

Church Secretary

Mrs. Angie Barnes has served as our church secretary since September of 1995.  Angie works hard serving our church family through various means too numerous to list!  She does an excellent job on the weekly bulletins and monthly newsletter.  

In addition to being married to Bill, Angie is proud of being a grandmother!

Mrs. Edna Proctor

Pastors' and Financial Secretary

Mrs. Edna Proctor has served in the dual roles of the Pastors' Secretary and the Financial Secretary since July of 2007.  In addition to serving the pastors, she accurately maintains all of the financial records and membership administration. 

Edna is married to Chester who serves as a deacon and an usher.

 Mrs. Denise Price

Church Organist

Mrs. Denise Price has faithfully served the Lord musically as our Church Organist since March of 1997.  In addition to her musical and vocal abilities, Denise is active in serving in our young adult ministry area. 

She is married to Craig.  They have two daughters: Christy and Stephanie.  

  Mrs. Joan Pate

Church Pianist

Joan came to be on our staff in the spring of 2009.  She has extensive experience playing the piano and organ as well as directing choirs.  She felt the call of God on her life at the age of 12 to be in the ministry of music for His Church. 

Joan is married to Robert.  They have two children: Rob and Sara.
